Symposium and Papers

The symposium is open to the participation of academicians and researchers working in the field of language, literature and translation from Turkey and abroad.

1 person can attend the symposium with only 1 self and 1 joint paper. The second paper of a person may have been prepared with a maximum of three people. Joint papers prepared with more than 3 researchers are not accepted.

Symposium languages ​​are Turkish and English.


Papers can be presented in Turkish and English and Turkish dialects.


Notifications sent; pictures, figures, maps, etc. It should not exceed 35 journal pages (7,000 words), including its supplements. Articles should include Turkish and English abstracts (between 200-300 words) and keywords (5-7 words).


Abstracts must be uploaded by subscribing to rumelise.com, provided that they do not exceed 300 words.


The abstract and text of the paper should be prepared in accordance with the spelling rules. For paper writing, the writing rules on the website https://www.rumelise.com/ are essential.

Maximum 15 minutes will be given for paper presentations in the sessions.


If the participant, who submits the abstract text to the Symposium Organizing Committee, agrees to submit the full text, it is deemed to have given permission for the publication of the paper in the RumeliDE Journal of Language and Literature Studies.
